The Bloom: Concept House is an innovative floral design concept founded by a visionary French floral artist based in New York City. At the time of engagement, the studio was preparing for its official launch: a concept house that would reimagine floristry as an avant-garde artistic practice rather than a traditional flower shop. The founder needed a complete visual identity and digital concept to introduce this experimental vision to NYC's creative community.
The challenge was to develop a full-fledged brand identity system (logo, color palette, design language, and website concept) that would authentically communicate the concept house's artistic positioning before physical launch. The digital presence needed to establish credibility and excitement around an entirely new floral experience, showcasing the range of offerings (custom bouquets, workshops, event styling, art installations, collaborations) while conveying luxury, creativity, and a distinctly avant-garde approach to floristry.
I designed a complete visual system built on warm, sophisticated color gradients (peachy tones transitioning to deep magentas and earthy browns) creating an emotional, dreamlike aesthetic. The logo and typography reflect refined elegance paired with organic sensibility. The website concept features oversized, poetic floral imagery that feels integral to the design rather than decorative, with clean, minimalist navigation that lets visual storytelling dominate. Each page reveals different flowers and design moods, reinforcing the concept house positioning. The cohesive brand identity (from logo to web design concept) positioned The Bloom as a premium, artistic alternative to conventional floristry.
